A bunny by the name of Herman, may officially be the largest rabbit in the world. He lives in Berlin with his owner Hans Wagner. Herman is a German Giant; these breeds do not live in the wild, but are instead developed by breeders. This breed can live up to 12 years. Herman weighs about 16 pounds and his ears are 21 cm, which are as long as a pet rabbit is tall. He devours over 4 pounds of food a day and his favorite snack is of course lettuce. The rabbit also takes vitamins to enhance his health and eats a bale of hay a week.

Ahhh! The only experience I’ve ever had with bunnies was one in which they tried to eat my hair, but I still love them. But a giant one? I’m re-thinking moving to Germany. Nice story.
Well this doesn’t scare the shit out me… NOT!
Giant rabbits? I don’t even know if I can handle this world anymore, what’s next, invisible anacondas? This place is starting to scare me; I think I’m going to start carrying mace. Just to be safe, in case a giant bunny comes out of the weeds riding an invisible anaconda.
I’m glad you posted a picture of the rabbit because he actually looks a lot larger then sixteen pounds. If you wouldn’t have posted the picture I would’ve thought of a normal rabbit. This rabbit is way beyond that!
